\nTitle: Emergence of Classical and Quantum Spacetimes in IKKT Matrix Mode
 ls\n\nAbstract:\nThe Ishibashi-Kawai-Kitazawa-Tsuchiya (IKKT) matrix model
is a promising nonperturbative formulation of type IIB superstring theory
\, in which spacetime is expected to emerge dynamically from the distribut
ion of matrix eigenvalues\, which are interpreted as the positions of D-in
stantons. Understanding how these matrix degrees of freedom organize into
different spacetime structures is one of the central questions in the mode
 l. \nIn this talk\, I will present a series of recent works that address
this question from several complementary perspectives. I will first discus
s the supersymmetric mass-deformed (polarized) IKKT model with Monte-Carlo
numerical method\, which reveal the interplay among fuzzy-sphere\, IKKT\,
and commuting-matrix saddle configurations and their implications for eme
rgent spacetime. \nI will then show how the Wilson loop in two-dimensiona
l bosonic IKKT (Hoppe) matrix model reproduces continuum Yang-Mills theory
through large-N reduction. Finally\, we move on to the higher-dimensional
bosonic IKKT model\, where recent progress sheds new light on the nonpert
urbative dynamics of D-instantons and the microscopic structure of quantum
spacetime.\nTogether\, these studies illustrate how the dynamics of matri
x eigenvalues provides a unified framework for understanding the emergence
of both classical and quantum spacetime in IKKT matrix models.\n\nSlides:

stract:\nIt is widely assumed that the standard Hawking radiation persists
as long as a black hole remains much larger than the Planck length. In th
is talk\, I will explore how UV physics can nevertheless dramatically modi
fy the conventional properties of Hawking radiation\, even in this semicla
ssical regime.\nIn particular\, I will show that nonlocal UV features expe
cted in quantum gravity (and especially in string theory) can render Hawki
ng radiation a transient phenomenon that is largely suppressed after the s
crambling time\, much earlier than the conventionally expected black hole
lifetime. This suggests a major departure from the usual picture of black
hole evaporation and may offer fresh insight into alternative resolutions
of the information paradox.\n\nSlides: (WeiHsiang SHAO) NITEP Seminar.pdf

 e Mito–Kamimura Method"\n\n・アブストラクト：\nIn fusion and fi
ssion reactions\, nuclear shapes undergo large-amplitude changes\, and sin
gle-particle excitations are induced through the dissipation of collective
energy. Developing a theoretical framework that consistently incorporates
these effects remains an important challenge in nuclear reaction theory.\
nIn this talk\, I address this problem by extending the generator coordina
te method (GCM) to include single-particle excitations and by connecting i
t to appropriate scattering boundary conditions. To this end\, I introduce
a formulation based on the non-equilibrium Green's function method for in
duced fission reactions\, together with a formulation based on the Mito–
Kamimura method for fusion reactions. Finally\, I present recent applicati
ons of these formalisms to nuclear fission and fusion reactions\, such as
 236U(gamma\, fission) or 16O+16O collision.\nhttps://indico.nitep.osaka-cu
