``Nuclear Reaction Theory Based on the Generator Coordinate Method: The Non-Equilibrium Green's Function Method and the Mito–Kamimura Method"

・アブストラクト:
In fusion and fission reactions, nuclear shapes undergo large-amplitude changes, and single-particle excitations are induced through the dissipation of collective energy. Developing a theoretical framework that consistently incorporates these effects remains an important challenge in nuclear reaction theory.
In this talk, I address this problem by extending the generator coordinate method (GCM) to include single-particle excitations and by connecting it to appropriate scattering boundary conditions. To this end, I introduce a formulation based on the non-equilibrium Green's function method for induced fission reactions, together with a formulation based on the Mito–Kamimura method for fusion reactions. Finally, I present recent applications of these formalisms to nuclear fission and fusion reactions, such as 236U(gamma, fission) or 16O+16O collision.
