 n that certain types of matrix models have close connection with supersymm
 etric gauge theories. Recently we have studied properties of one of those 
 models. It is a unitary matrix model which is an extension of the Gross-Wi
 tten-Wadia model by the logarithmic potential. Some properties which will 
 be explained are:\n\n1. The spectral curve of this model is isomorphic to 
 the Seiberg-Witten curve of the SU(2) gauge theory with two matter hypermu
 ltiplets.\n2. The double scaling limit of the matrix model corresponds to 
 the limit of the gauge theory to the Argyres-Douglas superconformal fixed 
 point.\n3. The partition function of the matrix model is a tau function of
