  2. VENUE:  10th floor, Media Center, Osaka Metropolitan University (formerly Osaka City University),  3-3-138, Sugimoto, Sumiyoshi, Osaka, Osaka, Japan.
  3. ACCESS: The nearest airport is Kansai (KIX), and the venue can be accessed also from Itami (domestic one)  via  Haneda in Tokyo.
  4. LOCAL TRANSPORTATION:  Take the JR Hanwa line from KIX and do not take the Nankai line.  Take the ordinary express (Kankuu Kaisoku), and do not take the limited express Haruka.  Change train to a local one at Sakai-shi and, in two more stations, get off at Sugimoto-cho. Getting out at the east exit, you see a tall green building. All these will take just about an hour.
  5. HOTELS: The most convenient area is Tennouji, with several hotels.  Just take the JR Hanwa line local  (in 14 min) to come to the venue. There are hotels in areas in the southern part of Osaka city, Nagai, Namba, Uehonmachi, etc (metro is available), and Sakai-higashi in Nankai line and can be accessed to the venue in about half an hour.
  6. REGISTRATION: Here in our website, INDICO HP

Second information

  1. REGISTRATION FEE: 250 USD by credit transaction. Please follow the registration procedure to make a payment at an appropriate place. For those participants who have an affiliation to Japan, however, it is possible to reduce the cost by avoiding commission fees of a few kinds and we will make for them special measures based on this point available. Please follow the registration procedure to press the button at an appropriate place. The deadline for registration is 9 October 2023.
  2. HOTELS: For the sake of your cost estimate during your stay in Osaka, we have collected a few links to get information on hotels in the area listed in the initial information. Please make exploit these for your plan to visit us in November: TennojiNagai, Namba, and Uehonmachi.
  3. As was stated in the first information, we ask every participant to cover his expenses including the registration fee by his resources. We will make efforts to support some to cover a fraction of local expenses to graduate students and postdocs who do not have support from your home institution, while we cannot tell how much at this moment as the workshop is run by the registration fees alone. Those who are interested and eligible are asked to write to us, attaching a PDF document that proves the status. After the completion of the registration with the payment of the registration fee, we will put them in the list in a first come first serve basis.
  4. For people in the same category as Inf. 3 and from abroad, we have made about 10 single rooms in OMU guesthouse available during the workshop period. They are equipped with Internet and are considerably cheaper (less than half) than the business hotels around here. Please write to us as well, and we will handle it like Inf. 3.

3rd Announcement

  1. We have converted the remaining slots of the invited speakers into those for the short talks. 18 slots are available. Poster session slots are unlimited.
  2. You can find payment information in the registration completion notification from the Indico system. Please also check your spam folder.
  3. We have recently been informed that some travel agencies get information on the list of invited speakers from Inspire and our INDICO website and send seductive emails to you on travel/ flight reservations. We have NO relation/contact to them and your careful treatment is appreciated.
