How to get to the Sugimoto Campus
The nearest airport is Kansai (KIX), and the venue can also be accessed from Itami (domestic one) via Haneda in Tokyo.
Local Transportation
- From Kansai International Airport (KIX):
Take the JR Hanwa line (Kankuu Kaisoku, Kansai-Airport Rapid Service). Change train to a local one at Sakai-shi and, in two more stations, get off at Sugimoto-cho. - From Osaka International Airport (Itami):
Take an Airport Limousine Bus to Abenobashi Station, then take a local train on the JR Hanwa Line from JR Tennoji Station and get off at Sugimoto-cho Station. - From Tennnouji Station:
Take a local one (JR Hanwa line, platform no. 7 or 8) to get off at Sugimoto-cho. - From Shin-Osaka Station:
Take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and get off at Abiko.
Getting out of Sugimoto-cho at the east exit, you see a tall green building.
From Abiko Station (Osaka Metro Midosuji Line), walk for 20 minutes.
The way back via KIX
To those participants of GWBSM workshop going to Kansai Airport (KIX) using the JR Hanwa line:
Please be advised that the first four cars are bound for KIX while the next and the last four cars are to WAKAYAMA in Kansai Airport Express that you take.
They are disconnected at the station Hineno after Izumifutyu.
Please take one of the first four cars.
Media Center
The conference venue is on the top (10th) floor of the media center, the tall green building immediately seen at the nearest JR station, Sugimoto-cho. There will be a direction board to the venue at the station's exit.
